Next II 9.6mm 80m EDP

Next II is Gilmonte's latest advancement in rope performance - it is the second, improved generation of the Next model. The rope is definitely the most durable of all the ropes in our offer. It is characterized by low weight and good handling. It is suitable for both beginner climbers and for experienced climbers who climb and fall a lot (redpoint projecting). The Next II rope has specified 9 UIAA falls, while the slightly thinner rope EVO 9.3 has 5. Due to improved properties of Next II and slightly larger diameter than the EVO, its life-span is longer.

The Next II (7.4 kN) has (surprisingly) a slightly lower catching force (Max. impact force) than the thinner EVO rope (7.8 kN). As a result, the rope is more stretchable or "dynamic" (Dynamic elongation for Next II is 38%, and for EVO 35%), which will ensure soft falls.

As already mentioned, it is an improved, second-generation of NEXT rope, which surpasses the EVO series in most specifications.
